How It Works
Hotel Textile Collection
End-of-life sheets, towels, and linens are collected from hotel partners across the Netherlands — materials that would otherwise go to landfill or incineration.
Sorting & Processing
Textiles are sorted by composition (cotton/polyester blend) and quality. They are then mechanically shredded and spun back into new yarn.
New Fabric Production
The recycled yarn is woven into fresh fabric at approximately 140 gsm — optically white and ready for cutting and sewing.
Cut, Make & Trim
CMT partners in the Netherlands and Spain sew the fabric into finished tote bags with reinforced handles tested to 25,000 lifts.
NFC & DPP Activation
An NFC tag is embedded in each bag, linking it to its unique Digital Product Passport with full traceability and environmental impact data.
End of Life & Return
When the bag has served its purpose, it can be returned to Reused Remade to be recycled back into new textile products — completing the circular loop.
